Walk the streets of Salt River with a local tour guide and discover beautiful street art pieces from world renown local and international artists. During the tour​,​ our local guide will tell you to look beyond the wall and see the impact of Public Art on the community​,​ on the kids​,​ on the artists. Public Art​,​ Street art and Murals as a direct impact on creating jobs for artists​,​ tour guides​,​ little shops​,​ and an even more powerful indirect impact. It creates a safer and cleaner neighborhood and more cohesion and inclusion among the residents. Because behind each wall there is an educational message​,​ it opens debates and learning about world issues.

Meeting at a coffee shop run by old orphans ( training in becoming baristas) Walk around the Salt River neighborhood ( 10 minutes from Cape Town city centre ) Meet with local and learn Cape Malay culture specific to Cape Town ( and rich in history) Potentially meet with an artists and experience a spray paint workshop ( on demand)
