About this experience

If you are interested in experiencing the local culture while doing something good for the environment​,​ this is the experience for you! In this experience​,​ you will collaborate with students from the local eco-school and learn how to build bricks with recycled plastic bottles. This is an old technique that is used to build houses in many countries. You can then use this technique to build their own benches. In the end​​,​ you are invited to play traditional games with students on the square table built with plastic bottles. During the experience​​,​ you will have time to learn about the Eco-schools program and exchange stories with the students.

    Madagascar National Parks (MNP) is the manager of Madagascar's protected areas such as national parks, special reserves and integral special reserves grouped into 36 Management Units. MNP is a local organization created in 1990 and recognized as a public utility by Decree No. 91-592 of 4 December 1991. MNP is an Associate member to the Foundation of Environmental Education and is the National Operator of the Eco-schools Programme.
