About this experience

Have you ever thought of building your own house with recycled plastic bottles? Do you want to learn about how an eco-school works while meeting locals in Madagascar? In this experience, the participants will collaborate with the students in a local Eco-school to learn how to build bricks with recycled plastic bottles. This is an old technique that is used to build houses in many countries. The participants will then use this technique to build their own benches. Afterward, the participants will prepare plastic pots and transplant the seedlings into the pots. Together you are also going to transplant fruit trees and the mature seedlings in different areas of the school. In the end, you are invited to play traditional games with students on the square table built with plastic bottles. After the activities, there will be a picnic with local organic produced food. During the experience, you will learn about the Eco-schools and exchange stories with the students.
